Our Veterinarians
Our veterinarians have been part of this community for years, providing care you can count on.
Dr. Gordon Gilbert founded Pleasant View Animal Clinic in 1972 and has been caring for animals in the community for decades. He earned his veterinary degree from Michigan State University in 1967.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gilbert has been known for his steady approach and dedication to both his patients and their owners. He values practical, compassionate care and has built lasting relationships with generations of families and farms.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys harness racing and spending time working around the farm, often on his tractor.

Dr. Todd Gilbert joined the practice as part of the family tradition and continues to carry that forward today. He earned his veterinary degree from Michigan State University in 1989.
He has a strong interest in both large and small animal preventative care and is passionate about helping animals stay healthy through every stage of life. He enjoys working closely with clients to provide care that makes sense for their pets and their situation.
Outside of work, Dr. Todd enjoys harness racing, boating and camping during the summer, and spending time with his family — especially his 10 grandchildren.
At home, he cares for a group of animals of his own, including horses, a three-legged cat named Ginger, and Stella, his Bloodhound.
